Leslie Fagan's exceptional artistry and talent continue to garner much attention on both the national and international stage, Having performed under the batons of such noted conductors as Sir David Willcocks, Hans Graf, Boris Brott, Jukke Pekke Saraste, Elmer Isler and Daniel Lipton, Ms. Fagan has delighted audiences and critics alike at Roy Thomson Hall, Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall.

Last season Ms. Fagan performed Brahms' Requiem in Rochester, New York, and London, Ontario, Mozart's Coronation Mass and Davidde Penitente with Montreal's St. Lawrence Choir, Handel's Messiah with the Mississauga Choral Society, and with the National Academy Orchestra and Bach's St. John Passion with the Elmer Isler Singers under the direction of Lydia Adams. Ms, Fagan has joined forces with her esteemed colleague, soprano Wendy Nielsen, to present a concert entitled Duelling Divas with Fanshawe Chorus London and the Concert Players Orchestra which showcases the many facets of the operatic soprano voice.

Ms. Fagan's recent engagements include a solo concert of music of Stravinsky and Debussy with the Bordeaux Aquitaine Symphonie Nationale, France and Bach's Die Weinachts Oratorium in Stuttgart, Germany. She performed Mahler's 2nd Symphony with the Calgary Philharmonic under the direction of Hans Graf and in 2005 with the Hamilton Philharmonic. Recent seasons' concerts have included a solo recital with the Brott Summer Music Festival, a solo concert of Operatic Arias with the Oakville Symphony, Mendelssohn's Elijah with the Mississauga Choral Society and Bach's St. John Passion with Chorus Niagara.

Past engagements include Orff's Carmina Burana with the Toronto Symphony, Schubert's Stabat Mater with the Vancouver Chamber Choir, and Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate and Bach's three Wedding Cantatas with the Alberta Baroque Ensemble. Ms Fagan gave a solo performance of Mozart Concert Arias and Zerbinetta's aria from Ariadne auf Naxos with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Hans Graf, and was invited back by Maestro Graf to Calgary to sing the role of Nanetta in Verdi's Falstaff. Ms. Fagan sang the title role in Donizetti's Linda di Chamounix for Opera in Concert's 25th Anniversary Gala, Rutter's Gloria with Sir David Willcocks conducting at the Guelph Spring Festival anniversary celebration, Mendelssohn's Symphony No.2 with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the première performance of Ode to Common Things by the American composer Cary Ratcliffe with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Choral Society. Ms. Fagan performed Mozart's Mass in C Minor at Podium 2000 under the direction of Lydia Adams, and Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream with the National Symphony at Wolftrap.

Ottawa-born Leslie Fagan grew up in London, Ontario and now resides in Hamilton with her husband, the conductor and organist Richard Hansen and their new daughter Isabella. In between her busy performing schedule, Leslie collects antique linen and furniture, designs and makes many of her performance gowns, and enjoys the discipline of dressage
