Adam Luther  

Reviews and repertoire

Adam Luther received his Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University last year. There he performed Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Judge Danforth in The Crucible. He is currently studying with Darryl Edwards at the Opera School at the University of Toronto. He recently sang in their production of Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor as Spärlich and was featured as Rodolfo in their 'Opera Tea' production of La Bohème.

This year, Adam was a featured soloist with Sounds of the Festival - Parry Sound, the Aldeburgh Connection, Arts & Letters Club, and the Toronto Philharmonia in their annual Opera Gala. This past summer at the Opera as Theatre program in Banff, Adam performed the role of Stefano in John Estacio's opera Filumena. This summer Adam studied with Marlena Malas at the prestigious Chautauqua Music Festival. In October he will sing Tamino with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra in The Magic Flute and in November will undertake Alfred in Die Fledermaus at U of T Opera School. In December Adam will sing Handel's Messiah with Chorus Niagara.
